A maxi-fraud involving almost 800 thousand on holiday vouchers provided by the Ministry of Tourism during the Covid emergency period, between 2020 and 2021, was discovered by the Naples Financial Police as part of an investigation which led to the seizure of almost 800 thousand euro, an amount equal to the total sum unduly received as a result of the scam.

The manager of a hotel in the northern area of Naples is in the sights of the Fiamme Gialle. But the manager of the facility is not the only one involved in the scam, given that the financiers of the Giugliano Group have ascertained that 2098 people are involved in the scam, all of whom have ended up under investigation.

These are the beneficiaries, almost all resident in Campania, who monetized the holiday bonus by giving it to the hotel manager, but without taking advantage of any stay.
