Clash between cars, mother death and 13-year-old daughter
She was accompanying her daughter to school when the fatal crash occurred
Overwhelmed by another car while traveling by car, a 13-year-old and her mother died.
The tragedy took place this morning in Cavaglietto, a town with just over 400 inhabitants in the Novara area.
The accident occurred along the provincial road that connects Barengo to Cavaglietto. The 56-year-old woman was accompanying her daughter to school from Vaprio, the family's town hall, before going to work.
The very violent crash occurred at an intersection that was the scene of numerous accidents. The dynamics and possible responsibilities of the accident have yet to be clarified.
The car was run over; the girl died instantly, her mother arrived at the hospital in Novara, where she had been taken by helicopter rescue.
In addition to 118, the traffic police, the fire brigade and the local police intervened on the spot.
