Car skids and ends up on the pavement: mother and two children run over

Drama this morning in Trento , in via Einaudi, where a woman with two children , one of whom was in a stroller, was hit by a car on the pavement .

The accident, the causes of which are not yet clear, occurred shortly after 8am .

The injured people, transferred to the Trento hospital under code red, are three: the 31-year-old mother and her two children, aged 8 years and four months respectively . They were not in serious condition.

From initial reconstructions, the car was proceeding in the opposite lane to the one where the pavement was, when it skidded during a turn and hit the woman and the two children .

Rescue workers intervened on site with several ambulances and two medical vehicles, together with the Trento firefighters and local police officers, who are entrusted with the investigations.

The road was closed to traffic.
