A three-year-old girl died during the night in Villabate (Palermo) in a road accident.

He was traveling in a Volkswagen Polo, driven by his 40-year-old father, which ended up against a wall in Via Natta. Also on board was his mother and twin brother.

There was nothing that could be done for little Aurora, while the other family members remained unharmed.

According to the initial investigations conducted by the police, the father had a blood alcohol level above the limit of 0.50 micrograms per litre. He was driving without a license, because it was revoked, and the car was without insurance.

The little girl's body is at the forensic medicine institute to carry out an autopsy ordered by the prosecutor's office.
