The girl's parents' attempts to stop the delivery man were unsuccessful. The little girl was taken to Sant'Orsola Hospital.

A 4-year-old girl was struck by an e-bike in front of a restaurant yesterday afternoon on Via delle Moline, in the center of Bologna. According to reports, the rider was a delivery driver carrying a backpack from a digital delivery platform. After stopping the bike for a few moments, he then drove away before an investigation could be carried out.
The little girl, who was with her parents who attempted to stop the delivery man, was rescued by 118 and taken to the Sant'Orsola Hospital for evaluation.
A report was then filed with the local police, who began an investigation to identify the person responsible: it appears that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Footage from surveillance cameras in the area was acquired.
