A building collapses in the Caserta area: a woman extracted alive from the rubble, her husband dead
Rescuers dug a tunnel and managed to reach the old woman, then found her husband's lifeless body.

A building collapsed in Cancello Scalo, a fraction of the municipality of San Felice a Cancello, in the province of Caserta. The toll is for one victim.
The firefighters arrived immediately on the spot and started digging in the rubble, where a 74-year-old woman was trapped with her husband, while the other residents had managed to escape.
Rescuers dug a tunnel and managed to reach the elderly woman, found alive and rescued after hours. After a while the woman's husband was found, unfortunately lifeless.
At the origin of what happened there could be a gas leak that caused an explosion.
