A body blindfolded and with its feet tied: a macabre discovery on a high-speed road, was hanging from the guardrail

Hanging from the guardrail is the body of a man with his feet tied, blindfolded and with signs of beatings.

It was found by Anas technicians who arrived this morning to carry out maintenance work on the Trieste high speed train.

The various marks on the body suggest that the man may have been tortured before being killed. Upon initial examination, according to what we learn, cuts and signs of beatings were found especially on the head.

The body was suspended outside the road, in an area of vegetation, barely visible to anyone passing by by car.

In addition to the Carabinieri, there were also 118 health workers, State Police and firefighters on site. The prosecutor on duty and the medical examiner intervened.
