Attempted murder and injuries. These are the accusations made in Texas against a woman who attempted to drown a three-year-old girl in a swimming pool.

According to CNN, the police are investigating for a hate crime because the woman also addressed insults to the family of the little Palestinian and Muslim girl. The Texas chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations called on state and federal authorities "to take every precaution to keep the Muslim family and community safe."

It was last May 19th when 42-year-old Elizabeth Wolf approached the little girl in Euless and started asking questions about the origins of her family and insulting them. He tried to grab a 6-year-old boy but the mother managed to take him away, then took the youngest and tried to drown her. The mother intervened immediately by pulling her little daughter out of the pool.

«We are American citizens, originally from Palestine, I don't know where to go to feel safe with my children», said the lady identified only with the initial H. «My country is facing a war and we are facing the I hate it here,” he added.
