Prince Albert II of Monaco's grandson, Antoine de Massy, was found dead in a park in the Principality last night. One person has been taken into custody, according to the newspaper Monaco-Matin. It is unknown whether the person arrested is facing charges or is simply a witness.

Son of Baron Christian de Massy and Cécile Gelabale, Antoine de Massy was 29 years old. He was the grandson of Princess Antoinette, elder sister of Prince Rainier and second grandson of Prince Albert II. Concerned by Antoine's absence from the family lunch on Sunday noon, a relative reportedly contacted the police, and a few hours later, the 29-year-old's lifeless body was found in a park along Boulevard du Larvotto, behind Villa Sauber.

A review of surveillance camera footage allowed investigators to identify a person present near the site where the body lay. The possibility of a simple accident has not been ruled out.
