A massive Russian attack overnight, with missiles and drones launched against Ukraine: "We hit military airfields, military-industrial complex facilities, telecommunications centers, and military logistics," the Defense Ministry stated. The ministry specified that the targets were located in the cities of Kiev and Lviv and in the regions of Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhitomir, Riven, Vinnytsia, and Dnipropetrovsk. "A cargo ship in the port of Yuzhny and two cargo ships east and south of Odessa, carrying weapons and military equipment, were also hit," the ministry added.

At least six people were killed in the raids: "Three parents and three children were killed in Dnipro, and two others were pulled alive from the rubble," Ukrainian President Zelensky said. "It was a normal home, shattered by a ballistic missile."
"Kiev and its region, as well as our regions of Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk, were attacked overnight. Dozens of ordinary homes, businesses, and infrastructure were destroyed and damaged. More than 70 missiles were used in this attack, a significant number of which were ballistic. Over 280 attack drones were also intercepted. More than 260 drones were shot down. Our fighter aircraft shot down a significant number of cruise missiles, and even mobile fire teams managed to neutralize some cruise missiles."

And during the raids, Polish airspace was violated, with a missile falling near Lublin: "During the massive Russian missile attack against western Ukraine, a violation of Polish airspace occurred. In this regard, I have convened a coordination group with the participation of the Minister of Defense and the relevant services, who have been operating on the spot for many hours and are systematically providing me with information on all the circumstances of the incident," Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote in X.
