Russian Drones Over Kiev: Woman Dead, Two Pregnant Women Injured

A woman was killed and seven others were injured, including two pregnant women, in a Russian drone strike on Kiev this morning , the city's military administration (Kmava) said, adding that the Pechersk district of the capital was targeted.
The Russians launched more than 110 drones against various targets in Ukraine, with Kiev's anti-aircraft defense managing to shoot down around sixty of them.
In his New Year's address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine will have to fight next year to strengthen its position both militarily and in preparation for possible talks to end Russia's three-year invasion.
"Every day, in the coming year, I and all of us will have to fight for a Ukraine that is strong enough. Because only such a Ukraine is respected and listened to. Both on the battlefield and at the negotiating table," the Kiev leaders said.
