In the United States, another case of suspected abuse of power and excessive violence by the police against African Americans .

A case similar, very similar, to that of George Floyd , who died during arrest by officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which had triggered protests of the "Black Lives Matter" movement throughout the country.

This time it happened in Canton, Ohio , where 53-year-old Frank Tyson was stopped by policemen and died uttering the same dramatic words spoken four years ago by Floyd: "I can't breathe" .

In a shocking 36-minute video, which dates back to April 18, one of the policemen is seen pinning him to the ground, pressing his knee on his back for over 30 seconds and responding to his pleas to let him go: "Calm down ».

Five minutes later the same officer checks his pulse and finds there is no heartbeat, but more time passes before cardiopulmonary resuscitation is performed. Then an ambulance arrives and the man is taken to hospital where he is pronounced dead.

Pending the outcome of the investigations, the officers involved have been suspended.

From what we understand, Tyson was released from prison on April 6 after serving 24 years for kidnapping and theft and immediately after having violated the terms of his parole.
