Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the repatriation of 146 Russian servicemen from territory controlled by Kiev in exchange for the return of 146 Ukrainian prisoners of war , RIA Novosti reported. According to the ministry, the United Arab Emirates played a humanitarian mediation role during the return of the Russian servicemen from captivity. Additionally, eight residents of the Kursk region, unlawfully detained by the Kiev regime, have been repatriated and will be returned to their homes.
