Last night the Ocean Viking rescued a rubber dinghy in international waters off Libya.
«We have saved 47 people, including 9 unaccompanied minors» , writes Sos Mediterranee on X. «Many of them are fleeing the war in Sudan».
The Italian authorities have assigned Marina di Carrara as the disembarkation port: " 1,300 km away from the rescue area and three and a half additional days of navigation that will keep our ship away from the Mediterranean," they commented.
