No clear-cut victory in the Brazilian elections, as many were hoping for. All postponed to October 30, when the ballot will be held, which is joined by Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva , 76, an icon of the South American left and a big favorite in the polls, and the outgoing right-wing president, Jair Bolsonaro (Pl), 67.

The first obtained 48.4% of the votes, the second 43.2%, while Simone Tebet (MDB) 4.2%.

No crowd therefore for the leader of the left, who instead limited himself to a meeting with a few thousand supporters.

The figure of abstention - the voters called to the polls were 156 million - has risen further compared to 2018 when it had reached 20.3%, now it has reached 20.94 , Lula would have paid for it.
