Kherson, 74 bombings in 24 hours: dead and wounded. Zelensky: "It's Russian terrorism"

Kherson bombed 74 times in the last 24 hours , with at least eight dead and dozens injured .

"The enemy mercilessly attacked the residential districts of the city, Russian shells hit critical facilities, kindergartens, a school, a hospital, a factory, shops, private houses and apartment blocks ," said Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the military administration Kherson regional.

Among the wounded, he said, there would also be a boy and a girl in serious condition in the hospital.

Volodymyr Zelensky speaks bluntly of "Russian terrorism" .

“Saturday morning, Christmas Eve, downtown. There are no military installations. It is not a war according to defined rules. It's terrorism, it's killing to intimidate and to please ," thundered the Ukrainian president.

"The world must see and understand what evil we are fighting against - he added -, this is the real life of Ukraine and the Ukrainians after ten months of war".

Zelensky has studied a 10-point peace plan which will be presented on February 24th. He also spoke about it with Joe Biden during his recent visit to the White House, but the Ukrainian leader intends first to maximize territorial reconquests with "as many victories as possible" to present himself stronger at the table.
