Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadi , arrested for not wearing a hijab during a concert broadcast on social media , has been released, sources close to the Iranian opposition reported on the Israeli channel Abu Ali Express.

The artist was reportedly arrested for a few hours and then released along with Ehsan Beiraghdar and Soheil Faghih-Nassiri , two musicians who participated in the performance streamed on the YouTube platform.

Three days ago, the judiciary opened a case against Ahmady, who in the video decided to show herself to her audience wearing a long, tight black dress, with bare shoulders and no veil on her hair . A dress that openly violates the rules imposed by the Islamic Republic.

The video quickly garnered more than 1.4 million views , climbing the Iranian trending topics.
