Hamas has released a video showing an Israeli hostage still alive. The hostage is 19-year-old Liri Albag , a soldier assigned to guard Nahal Oz and kidnapped along with six others by Hamas terrorists on October 7. One of them was rescued and another was found dead. The others – Albag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Naama Levy and Daniella Gilboa – are still being held hostage.
The three-and-a-half-minute video is undated, but Albag says she was held for more than 450 days, indicating it was filmed recently. Hamas has previously released similar videos of its hostages, which Israel considers a form of psychological warfare.
Albag's family has asked the media not to publish the video or images from it . Most Israeli media avoid broadcasting videos published by Hamas unless the hostages' families specifically request it.
