"There is no politics of hunger in Gaza, and there is no hunger in Gaza," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in Jerusalem, speaking at a Christian conference hosted by Donald Trump's advisor and evangelical pastor Paula White. The Times of Israel reports.

Israel “allowed humanitarian aid throughout the war... Otherwise there would be no inhabitants of Gaza,” Netanyahu added, accusing Hamas of intercepting supplies and then “accusing Israel of not providing them.”

According to the Hamas Health Ministry, however, "nearly 100 people were killed on Sunday alone while seeking aid in Gaza." The ministry said 67 people were killed in northern Gaza and six more in Khan Younis, in the south.

The Israel Defense Forces said troops “fired warning shots to remove an immediate threat” after “a gathering of thousands of people was identified in the northern Strip.”

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also spoke out recently: "Hunger," he said, "must never be used as a weapon of war. " "Conflicts continue to spread hunger in Gaza, Sudan, and elsewhere. Hunger fuels instability and undermines peace," Guterres added during a video conference at the UN Food Systems Summit in Ethiopia.
