The death toll from floods in Nepal has risen to 903, according to the BBC, citing Nepalese authorities. The number of missing has risen dramatically, as rescue operations enter their sixth day.
According to the country's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority, the number now stands at 4,247, up from 2,502 on Sunday.
Among them are 3,655 Nepalese citizens and 592 foreigners.
In Tibet, the death toll currently stands at 16, according to Chinese state media, and 546 people are missing.
More than 10,000 people have been rescued. Among them is a five-year-old girl, saved after being trapped under rubble for two days following the floods. International media reported this, sharing a viral video showing rescuers at the moment of the rescue. The girl, identified as Manisha, was found near Syabrubesi in the Rasuwa district.
