ECB President Lagarde faces early resignation
The exit would come before the French presidential election

Christine Lagarde could leave the leadership of the European Central Bank early, before the natural expiration of her mandate.
The news was reported by the Financial Times, which cited a source "familiar with her intentions" and was relaunched by Reuters: Lagarde is reportedly considering leaving the Eurotower before the French presidential elections.
The rumor has not been confirmed or denied at this time.
The ECB, contacted by Reuters, did not comment.
