Hope and life amidst the rubble. What the rescuers call "miracles" follow one another in the cities of Turkey and Syria devastated by the earthquake of recent days.

While the total victims caused by the earthquake rise to 21,000, the teams working among the debris of the destroyed buildings continue to extract living survivors. Men, women and even children. Among the latter, 10-year-old Hilal, rescued after 90 hours in the ruins of a 7-storey apartment in the Turkish province of Hatay.

To save the child, reports the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, the rescuers dug a tunnel: the child was under a block of concrete and, with the approval of the relatives, it was decided to amputate his arm, with an operation performed under the rubble. In the earthquake the child lost his parents and 3 brothers.
