Great Britain in shock for the murder of David Amess, 69, a Conservative deputy stabbed to death in Essex , during a meeting with his constituents. For the British police it would be a "murder of a terrorist matrix".

Several searches are underway, while the authorities have identified the person responsible, a 25-year-old of Somali origin.

In these hours, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the leader of the Labor opposition Keir Starmer went to the scene of the crime and placed two wreaths: a gesture to represent the unity of politics in the condolences and outrage for the death of a member of parliament praised by all for his mild and kind ways.

Meanwhile, in the light of what has happened, the English police have strengthened security measures around the deputies, while the Minister of the Interior Priti Patel has invited all parliamentarians "to go ahead and carry out their duties to serve democracy without being intimidated ".
