Alessandra Todde, in her speech, spoke of the need to focus on young women, "who constitute the real bridge for the future".

For his part, Michele Pais underlined the role of emigrants as "guardians of the tradition and millenary culture of our island and the best ambassadors of its image in the world".

"The clubs - added Pais - are also the best tool for the internationalization of Sardinian companies and productions that are unable to enter the large-scale distribution circuit".

Finally, Pais also referred to the amendment of the emigration law 7/91 "to update it to modern needs, changes to be made by hearing the circles and the FASI, who know better needs and opportunities".

“In the contents of Su Nou and Su Connotu - said Alessandra Zedda - there is all the value that the emigration of our Sardinians represents for our Sardinia. The challenge after Covid - added the vice president of the Region - is to work together, united to bring the many emigrants around the world back to Sardinia. And above all to avoid that our young people are forced to go overseas ”.

Zedda also mentioned the reform of regional law 7/91 and in particular the refinancing through the community funds of Sardinian clubs, "which today are on the verge of survival". "We must characterize the projects - he added - for overcoming the insularity, which must become, not only for the inclusion of the principle in the Constitution, but a real opportunity that binds Sardinia to every emigrated child".

The congress will continue on Sunday as well.
