Cabras, dancer Gaia Careddu continues her success.

She left the island with the desire to win some competitions, but she didn't expect to stand on the podium so many times. Gaia Careddu, 27, born and raised in Cabras, where she now works at her dance school, Art of Dance, recently returned from Asia with numerous trophies and a flood of happiness. She made her mark in Asia at the "Asian Tour Dance Festival," which visited Malaysia, China, Taiwan, and South Korea. She won all four competitions of the tour, which attracted eighty athletes. She was the only Italian. The dancer, an international competitor and member of the IDF National Team, competed in the "Amateur Latin over 16" category. Two years ago, she won The Open Worlds Championship, a prestigious Latin American dance competition held in England. She was also European runner-up at the European Open Championship in Spain. The dancer from Cabras attends Fabio Obino and Elena Melis's Amelie dance school.
