Little Sardinian artists take on Italy's most famous children's song contest. On Saturday 27 May , at the Theater of the Capuchin church in Sassari , the St. Augustine Father Marco Fabbri Choir organizes the only Sardinian stage of the selections for the sixty-sixth edition of the Zecchino d'Oro.

There are two time slots for the casting of boys and girls between three and ten years of age: from 10 to 13 and from 14 to 18 .

It is the first time in sixty-six years that the auditions for Sardinia take place entirely in the city of Sassari , and it is the first time that, alongside Wobinda productions, a casting for the Zecchino d'oro is organized by one of the choirs affiliated to the “Galaxy” by Antoniano.

«It is a great satisfaction for us and an important occasion for all the children who love to sing – explained the directors of the Sant'Agostino Choir, Marina Mura and Luisa Abis – and we try to make this experience unforgettable, without going beyond the boundaries of play and fun».

Alongside the directors of Sassari, the national selector Lapo Panelli , director of Wobinda Produzioni, will arrive directly from Bologna. Finally, at 7 pm a concert by the Sant'Agostino Choir will be proposed , together with the Sennori White Voices Choir and the Sennori Musical Band, both directed by Giuseppe Ruiu.

Four years ago "Acca" won , a song written by the Sardinian Flavio Careddu who also obtained third place with "Non capisci un tubo".
