Over 120 applications for participation for the 25 places on the Campus of Sardegna Ricerche which accompanies Sardinian students in their discovery of Steam. An interest beyond expectations that prompted the regional agency to open some of the events on the calendar - from 4 to 8 September at the science and technology park of Pula - to a greater number of participants.

So the expectation for the appointments of 5 and 6 September with their exceptional guests is growing. On Tuesday 5, the Italian-Iranian computer scientist Darya Majidi will be the protagonist: pioneer and visionary of Information Technology, expert in artificial intelligence, author, university professor, human and digital rights activist, who has become a reference figure for her commitment to rights human and digital.

Music, theater and business will be at the center of Wednesday evening when the show "History of Whatsapp" will be staged. The performance is part of the CompaniesTalks project, a format in which business stories are told on stage. The "History of Whatsapp" will be retraced through the story of Camillo Ciorciaro - actor and director from Basilicata, awarded as best leading actor at the XXIII Gallio Film Festival - accompanied by the violin of Melody Raquel Quinteros, holder of the teaching chair in the orchestra project of children from the City of Buenos Aires, who believe in the power of music for social change.

The Sardegna Ricerche campus - organized with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Cagliari - has chosen to focus on programming in Python for this first edition . It is a computer language that has an enormous diffusion all over the world because it guarantees the rapid and enjoyable development of applications of any complexity in many contexts, such as videogames for example.

The 25 students, from classes 4 and 5 of secondary schools from all over Sardinia, will carry out activities and workshops amidst the natural beauties of the science and technology park of Pula (Cagliari), an immersive and shared experience given that the kids will stay in the nearby structure of Is Molas.
