Sardinia is now surrounded: the siege is ongoing in general silence. Between revamping and new installations, over a thousand wind turbines, some gigantic, are scattered throughout the various territories. We are talking about on shore. And of the regulatory vacuum that develops the ambitions and relaunches the projects of those who also ignore the identity of a people. Saccargia is recent history: the protest of the committees and activists of the Rete Pratobello serves to ensure that the guard is not lowered.

But the Nulvi-Ploaghe project, with 55 wind turbines in front of the basilica, cannot be stopped without a deep mobilization.

The Pratobello Network has been threatening the square for a while now. For a very simple reason: in the face of the regulatory vacuum that was created after the Sardinian suitable areas law was sent by the Government to the Constitutional Court, which will have its say on October 7, everything now depends on the Draghi Decree. And the projects that are about to be presented risk compromising uncontaminated nature.

"It is an unprecedented assault, comparable only to the devastation caused by the destruction of forests in the nineteenth century: hundreds and hundreds of projects, a number of plants still unspecified due to the continuous irruption of new projects, but to date more than 1,500 blades", says Davide Fadda, spokesperson for the Permanent Presidium of the Sardinian People.
