In the hypothesis that all these plants were built, there would be a new available production capacity of over 100 TWh/year against an electricity requirement of less than 9 TWh per year: 12 times as much! »

Energy which, according to the committee, could neither be absorbed by the «disastrous Sardinian electricity grid», nor exported «even taking into account the new Tyrrhenian Link cable . An infrastructure, the latter, recklessly approved supinely by the Region without the slightest negotiation, which took into account the situation of the network in the overall picture of the energy situation of the Island".

Hence the opposition: « Not only is there no real advantage for the populations but, on the contrary, a devastation of our precious territories is being prepared with the associated theft of our collective assets.
