This morning in Sassari, a young woman suffered minor injuries after being struck in the back by a slab while walking on Via Brigata Sassari. According to initial reports, the object fell from scaffolding where renovation work is underway on the façade of a building.

The woman was immediately assisted by those present and, subsequently, by the 118 emergency services who then transferred her for evaluation to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata hospital.

Firefighters and local police officers also arrived on the scene and will now investigate to determine any culprits.
