"It must be a little over a kilo." TV host Tessa Gelisio waited a few weeks to publish the video, wanting the Carabinieri to have time to launch their investigation. But now the material is online, documenting the discovery, during a walk on the beach in Calasetta, of a sealed package containing a white powder whose nature there seemed little doubt: "Cocaine," was her verdict.

After the discovery, Gelisio, who was with his partner, alerted 112: the military confiscated the package and scoured the beach to see if there were any other "surprises" on the sand.

“Crazy, something that has never happened to me before,” she says, amazed, while showing off that parallelepiped wrapped in black plastic.

"At first I thought it was a piece of a boat," the story continues, "something that came from the sea, from a boat, an engine, I don't know, but in any case it came from a boat. Instead, we opened it with a small knife and saw that there was some white powder: what could it be?" is the rhetorical question.
