Wild Blue, hiker in trouble: helicopter intervenes

A 27-year-old American hiker in distress on the Selvaggio Blu was rescued by the fire department's Drago 148 helicopter . The helicopter crew, which took off from the Alghero base, arrived at Punta 'e Lattone, along the Baunei coast, where the woman—who had been hiking since last night—had raised the alarm.

The operations, which began around 9:15 a.m. today, concluded successfully with the participation of the firefighters' team from the Tortolì detachment.
