The mayor has chosen to close schools in the entire metropolitan city, several mayors have joined by signing the ordinances, those of Quartu, Selargius and Villa San Pietro have not done so, where lessons are held regularly.

As for the university, all its locations are closed : "Following the weather alert, teaching activities (for example, lessons, exams, exercises, seminars, laboratories, student collaborations, Erasmus), libraries, study rooms and related activities and the discussion of degrees are suspended", the University informs.

The communication of the school closures came from Zedda himself in the afternoon during the opening of the works of the Cagliari City Council. In the evening, the Coc, the Municipal Operations Center for Civil Protection, met, where there are, among others, the Civil Protection and the Red Cross, which decided on the other measures.

Maximum alert as always in Pirri : the closure of the Terramaini swimming pool has been ordered, the plan also includes traffic closures and the impossibility of entering, in the event of flooding, the territory of the municipality.
