Warm: expected up to 40 degrees in Sardinia

A very hot week opens for Sardinia where, in the inland areas of the central-western quadrant, it can even reach 38-40 degrees.

The island so far had only been touched by the African anticyclone which is bringing high temperatures throughout Italy and, according to the forecast of the Decimomannu Air Force's weather office, this situation will last for at least 4-5 days: "The extension of the African anticyclone will continue to guarantee stable conditions throughout Italy and also in Sardinia with days characterized by high temperatures and poor ventilation, in a breeze regime, which will favor the accumulation of humidity in inland areas ".

Then there is, in addition, the yellow alert issued by the Ministry of Health for heat waves in Cagliari , valid until Wednesday, with temperatures that can reach 36 degrees.
