Strongly rejects all the accusations Bastiano Secci, the 55-year-old from Irgoli in a cell in Badu 'e Carros on charges of attempted murder for having beaten his partner to death . But the magistrate has decided that he will have to remain in prison.
The 50-year-old woman is hospitalized in San Francesco di Nuoro in the intensive care unit.
Secci, in front of the investigating judge Giacomo Ferrando, provided his reconstruction of what happened in the night between Saturday and Sunday but his lawyer, Cosimo Forma, did not want to disclose his version.
Instead, he requested the revocation of his client's detention in prison and a less afflictive measure to replace it : house arrest or the obligation to sign.
However, the investigating judge rejected the request for mitigation of the measure.
The victim was shot in the eye, back and abdomen: she managed to give the alarm to a neighbor allowing the arrival of help and law enforcement.
