The criminals had assumed that they could find a lot of money as the eve and Christmas masses had taken place. They rummaged in the drawers and took away around 200-300 euros in coins and banknotes , as well as damaging the front door.
The blitz lasted a total of 9 minutes , as certified by the video surveillance of the area, which allowed the carabinieri to reconstruct what happened and to identify those responsible.
