Villasimius, stopped while they take away the sand: "We have been coming here for 10 years, we always have"

The attempt to steal sand from the beaches of Villasimius fails. The environmental guards of Sardinia surprised a family of British tourists while on the beach of Campulongu they were trying to take away the sand with a bottle.

" We have been coming here for ten years and we have always done so not knowing the prohibition", so the tourists would have defended themselves.

The report was made by a citizen of Villasimius present on the beach. The local police arrived on the spot and raised the fine of one thousand euros to tourists.
