Villaputzu, access to the documents for the closed bridge: «The Province shows the certification of the risk of collapse»

«We have asked the Province of Southern Sardinia for certification of the risk of incipient collapse of the iron bridge between Villaputzu and Muravera but still no response».
The mayor of Villaputzu Sandro Porcu is going on the attack again: «The Province – underlines Porcu – to date has not responded to the requests for access to documents presented by our Municipality».
The bridge was closed on December 8th amid controversy and a thousand inconveniences for the communities of Sarrabus. «I remember - adds the mayor of Villaputzu, referring to the last four years - that the blockade of heavy vehicles above a certain tonnage did not prevent the passage of Arst buses, loaded with students and commuters. If there was really a risk, the bridge should have been closed immediately and not simply put up traffic lights ."
Porcu concludes by reiterating that «in recent years we have asked the Province and the competent bodies for clarification on this too but no one has ever given us a comprehensive answer ».
