Vandals in action in Villasimius: a cliff is defaced with spray cans

A black writing on the granite cliff that stands out against the blue sea of Villasimius.

It is the sad "signature" left by some vandal who - with a spray can - decided to smear the promontory between the beach of Simius and that of Is Traias . A gesture that has certainly not gone unnoticed, as documented by the shot by photographer Andrea Piras. Thus the gray and rough surface of the stone, exposed to the salty breeze of the Marine Protected Area, has become not an uncontaminated corner to be discovered but a palette to be devastated.

A gesture, that of the "writer" which recalls what happened last May in Cala Biriola , on the coast of Baunei, where a group of boys vandalized a rock immersed in crystal clear blue water with paint. The photo of the "raid" soon made the rounds of the network, unleashing the wrath of users.
