74,000 people in Sardinia aged 50 and over have not received even a dose of the anti-Covid vaccine (2.2 million in Italy) and are therefore affected by the obligation set out in the decree approved by the Council of Ministers last Wednesday. If the provision is not respected, a fine of 100 euros will be applied and up to 1,500 euros for those who are found at work without the Super Green pass.
The obligation of the reinforced green certificate for all workers (public and private) and freelancers aged at least 50 will start from 15 February. Or they will not receive the salary but will keep the job. The exceptions concern those who are exempt for health reasons, while for those who are cured of the coronavirus the obligation is triggered within six months from the date of recovery.
The squeeze regarding the so-called no-vaxes is becoming more and more consistent also because from Monday the certificate will be mandatory everywhere, on means of transport, for eating in bars and outdoors, in hotels, at fairs, in ski resorts for example.
And from 20 January the basic Green pass (the one that can also be obtained with an antigen test) will be used to go to barbers, hairdressers, beauticians. From February 1st, to access any public office, postal, banking and financial services, and commercial activities, all you need is the basic pass (obtained with a swab). It will be possible to access without - says the decree - only services for the satisfaction of "the essential and primary needs of the person".
