Uta, ends up with the van in the canal: a 41-year-old from Assemini died

Fatal accident on provincial road 2, near Uta .

A Doblò van, around 7 in the morning, ended up in a canal after going off the road, near the roundabout for Macchiareddu.

Elio Scalas, 41, from Assemini, was thrown out of the windshield on impact and died instantly.

Carabinieri from Siliqua and Vallermosa, and the firefighters from Cagliari were on the spot.
