The drugs had been hidden in the bathroom pipes. So good that, after being sniffed by the police dog, the toilet had to be dismantled to find it. It happened to Uta. The blitz was successful thanks to Zoi's extraordinary intuition - during a joint operation between the Dog Unit and the Penitentiary Police - who reported a toilet used by inmates. Initially, despite meticulous checks, nothing was found. Then the discovery, with the substances carefully stored in the pipes.

This was made known by the general secretary of the UilPa Penitentiary Police of Sardinia Michele Cireddu , according to whom «Zoi's extraordinary nose and the tenacity of the officers allowed the discovery of the substance which, if it had been distributed inside, could have caused devastating effects, considering that potential users suffer from serious pathologies."

«The Uta prison – continues Cireddu – often hits the news due to the serious critical events that occur daily. The staff is unfortunately suffering a quantity of work-related stress that goes beyond the threshold of human tolerance but despite this, they have once again managed to strike a hard blow against drug trafficking. The administration must continue to combat the introduction of narcotic substances and to do so it must strengthen intelligence and prevention work, implementing the presence of the dog unit in all the institutes in Sardinia which, in synergy with the agents of the various departments, can stop the various trafficking attempts".
