“There is no doctor, be careful with libations and alcohol to avoid getting sick ”. It is the dispatch of the mayor of Ussassai , 500 inhabitants between Ogliastra and Barbagia di Seulo.

Through an ordinance published on Facebook, Francesco Usai recommends moderation to his fellow citizens: “Seui's medical guard, which also assists Ussassai, will not be operational on key days of the holidays, i.e. 23, 24, 29 and 31 December. With immediate effect and until the restoration of the safety conditions for the health of all inhabitants of every age group, order and rank, the excessive consumption of food, alcohol and any other food or drink that can cause an even minimum gastric disturbance or malaise as emergency medical services are not guaranteed ”.

And again: "The only solution that could be found is to move a medical guard from large centers such as Cagliari or Nuoro and have her come here to us where there is an emergency". A solution which, however, does not seem practicable.
