The two users of the electronic cards stolen from a car on 9 September have been identified. The Carabinieri of Quartu Sant'Elena tracked down a 33-year-old local man and a 36-year-old from Selargius, both unemployed.

During the investigations, images from video surveillance systems were viewed, witnesses were interviewed and social networks were analysed.

The theft occurred when a 57-year-old woman got out of her Peugeot 208 and forgot her bag on board.

The two men were reported for receiving stolen goods in competition.
