Schools from all over Sardinia arriving at the Monserrato University Citadel , where the Orientation Days organized by the University of Cagliari will take place on Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 March.

The university thus welcomes back students for the first time since the pandemic, to raise awareness of the degree courses and services offered. "There will be various innovations regarding the training offer", points out the rector Francesco Mola during the presentation of the activities which took place this morning at the Rectorate. «The expectations of our students are high and strong, we have to offer more . The digital transition and the energy transition are leading to a global revolution: we as a university have equipped ourselves, we are equipping ourselves and we will continue to equip ourselves in this sense".

The offer. In the three days dedicated to orientation, fourth and fifth year students will be welcomed by the University , both with teachers and with recent graduates already established as professionals in various fields who will illustrate their experience within the university to testify the importance of university study. "We have already received over 9500 enrollments , including individual students and schools: they will be able to visit classrooms, educational laboratories, libraries and museums of the Citadel, getting to know the guidance and counseling services", explains Valentina Onnis , Vice-Rector for guidance and Alumni.

The Cagliari university offers 88 study courses : 42 three-year, 40 master's and 6 single-cycle courses, with a total of over 30,000 people including students, teachers, researchers, postgraduates and doctoral students. The possibility to register for the three days (from 9 to 15 on Thursday and Friday, from 9 to 13 on Saturday) is still open .
