Evasion and aggravated theft , committed against a pharmacy, are the crimes to which a 37 -year-old from Cagliari, arrested by the police yesterday, will have to answer.

The agents of the Flying Squad were engaged in the daily control services of the territory when, in via Quirra , they came across the man, known for his numerous police records.

The checks first revealed that the man had evaded the house arrest regime. In addition, the officers noted that in the pocket of the trousers and the fanny pack there were packs of adhesive cream for dentures, which was later found to have been stolen shortly before from a pharmacy in the Sant'Avendrace area.

The man was then arrested for evasion and aggravated theft and, at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, accompanied home under house arrest and awaiting the validation hearing.

A few hours later, however, he was again surprised by the agents of the Flying Squad in the streets of the San Michele district : arrested for the second time, he was held in the security rooms of the Police Headquarters of Cagliari , awaiting the direct hearing scheduled for this morning.
