A journey into the collective memory of Selegas through poems, stories, and folk tales preserved for over a century. This is the heart of the initiative promoted by the Municipality during the "Fueddus" literary festival, which will feature the presentation of the book dedicated to Tziu Sriviu, born Silvio Marrocu, on Monday, May 25th at 6:30 pm in the Municipal Library.

The volume collects the precious writings of Marrocu, an author capable of capturing with extraordinary clarity an authentic glimpse of village life in the early 20th century. The pages include muttetus, songs, stories, comedies, and riddles that restore the value of oral tradition and Campidano culture. "The volume will be donated to all the families of Selegas and Seuni, with the aim of bringing into their homes a cultural heritage that recounts the identity, language, and memory of the area," says Mayor Alessio Piras. A Campidano poetry competition will follow, featuring Antonio Pani, Simone Monni, and Luca Panna, accompanied on guitar by Mario Aledda. A portion of Silvio Marrocu's song "I Bagadias de Selegas del 1917" will also be performed.

The Fueddus cultural festival program continues on Tuesday, May 26th with "Innocenza in Catena" by Tore Quartu (5:30 PM) and "Femmenella" by Davide Piras (6:30 PM). On May 27th, "Nero Mediterraneo" by Antonio Boggio and "Gli indegni" by Francesco Abate will be featured. On May 28th, "Il cavaliere senza onore" by Nicolò Migheli will be performed at 6:00 PM, followed by the show "La storia siamo noi. Voci, suoni e appunti di Sardegna" (History is Us. Voices, Sounds, and Notes of Sardinia) at 7:30 PM, featuring Flavio Soriga and cellist Gianluca Pischedda. The grand finale will be on May 29th: "Mommoteddu" by Nicola Ledda with preschool children at 9:30 AM, "La cena delle anime" by Maria Laura Berlinguer at 6:00 PM, and "Stammi Accanto" by Cristiano Godano at 7:30 PM.
