A young Frenchman nearly drowned an hour ago in the waters of the Poetto fire station in Quartu. The 25-year-old was rescued by a lifeguard from the fire department, who reached him and took him to the beach, where he was resuscitated and taken to the hospital with a critical condition.

It happened around 4pm: some swimmers raised the alarm and the fire brigade lifeguard intervened immediately.
