Two thefts prevented by the Flying Squad in Cagliari

Two episodes of attempted theft in Cagliari and as many people reported by the State Police.

Last night 113 received a call from a security guard who signaled the presence of a man intent on breaking into a vending machine for food and drinks, of those open 24 hours a day. The Volante agents arrived on the spot, in the Is Mirrionis neighborhood , and managed to locate the thief. After a check, they confiscated the small knife which is probably the one used for the burglary attempt: it was still in the possession of the 43-year-old (who also has numerous police records behind him). For him a report on the loose for aggravated theft and the wearing of tools for burglary.

The second episode concerns a 64-year-old who in via Vespucci was seen by a citizen while trying to take a mobile phone away from a parked car. Alerted on 113, the policemen of the Volante intervened and blocked him by returning the mobile phone to the owner. For the man, however, the complaint for attempted aggravated theft.
