Cagliari-Milan flights unavailable until September 2nd: "The situation is unsustainable."

Just run a simulation. Finding a seat on a plane to reach Milan Linate from Cagliari, Olbia, and even Alghero is practically impossible . This is the situation at a time of peak departures to the continent.

It was easy to imagine that this problem would arise at this time of year. And so it did, causing considerable inconvenience for Sardinians who needed to travel to the Lombardy capital for health or work reasons.

Until September 2nd, traveling to the Lombard capital is a real undertaking.

"An unsustainable situation," according to Giomaria Cuccu, of the Sardinian UIL secretariat.
